Where lived experience connects community, support and research

We bring together lived experience, research and community to create inclusive spaces where neurodivergent people, families and professionals can connect, learn and thrive.

Our Initiatives

Community Support Evenings

Delivered in partnership with Autism Champions CIC, our Community Support Evenings provide a welcoming online space where neurodivergent people can connect, share experiences, exchange practical advice and support one another. These monthly sessions help reduce isolation, foster meaningful connections and remind participants that they are not alone.

NDV Podcast

The NDV Podcast brings together lived experience and professional expertise to explore neurodiversity from multiple perspectives. Through honest conversations with guests from across the neurodiversity community, we aim to inform, inspire and promote greater understanding while helping to shape more inclusive communities.

Let's Talk Neurodiversity

Designed for primary-aged pupils, the sessions introduce neurodiversity in an engaging, age-appropriate and inclusive way through discussions, activities and real-life examples. By encouraging curiosity, challenging stereotypes and celebrating different ways of thinking and learning, the programme helps children develop empathy, understanding and a culture of inclusion from an early age.

Our Mission

We believe lived experience has the power to shape better services, stronger communities and more inclusive workplaces. Our mission is to amplify neurodivergent voices, foster meaningful connections and bridge the gap between research, practice and real life.

The Neurodiversity talks at Thameside have been hugely beneficial for pupils of all ages, from year 1 to year 6. Pupils thoroughly enjoy the interactive nature and information shared,  and it has provided them with age-appropriate knowledge to understand neurodiversity in themselves and their peers. Older pupils were able to identify traits in themselves and helped them understand their diagnosises, the support available and have the reassurance and encouragement that they can achieve absolutely everything.  These talks have created an inclusive community focussing of knowledge and acceptance for all our pupils at Thameside Primary School.

Collaborations

Collaboration is at the heart of Neurodiverse Voices Connect. We believe meaningful change happens when people with different experiences, perspectives and expertise come together. By working alongside individuals, organisations, researchers and communities, we aim to amplify neurodivergent voices, share knowledge and create opportunities for genuine involvement and lasting impact.
