Support Groups
Locally, we support each other. Our community is full of wonderful people and groups, many shaped and inspired by lived experience and a shared understanding of the challenges families can face. By working together, sharing resources and connecting people with different groups and services, we create a strong network of support—helping to ensure that there is always somewhere to turn and someone who understands.
SENtipede
SENtipede offers welcoming, lived-experience-led support for parents and carers of children with SEND, creating spaces to connect, share experiences and support one another. This includes a collaboration with Oxford Hub and newly launched coffee mornings for SEN dads, helping to ensure support and connection are available across the local community.
Parent SENse Witney
Parent SENse Witney is a friendly, parent-led community offering a relaxed and welcoming space for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND to connect, share experiences and support one another.
Neurodiuniverse - We Are Who We Are
Neurodiuniverse – We Are Who We Are is an Oxfordshire-based, lived-experience-led community supporting neurodivergent children, adults and families through inclusive events, peer connection, practical resources and welcoming spaces where people can feel understood, supported and able to be themselves.

Squiggle Space
SquiggleSpace offers compassionate, lived-experience-led support for parents and carers of neurodivergent children, providing a safe, non-judgemental space to talk through challenges, better understand their child’s needs and find practical ways forward with greater confidence and connection.
Wandering Minds Collective
The Wandering Minds Collective is a welcoming peer-support group in Abingdon for parents and carers of children with ADHD, as well as adults with ADHD. Through relaxed, in-person meet-ups, the group creates a supportive space to connect with others who understand, share lived experiences and advice, and feel part of a local community where no one has to navigate ADHD alone.
Reading ADHD Group
Reading ADHD Group is a welcoming, lived-experience-led peer-support network for adults with ADHD across Reading, Berkshire and the surrounding areas. Through relaxed in-person meet-ups, workshops and free resources, the group provides a supportive space to connect with others who understand, share experiences and feel part of a community—whether diagnosed, awaiting assessment or simply exploring ADHD.
AND Oxfordshire is a welcoming, inclusive community supporting neurodivergent children and young people through dedicated youth groups. Providing a safe and understanding space to connect, socialise and be themselves, the groups help young people build friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging alongside others who understand.
Ciddy Gray - Neuroaffirming, Trauma Informed Education and Family Support
A welcoming, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming service supporting neurodivergent children, adults and families. Through learner-led, empathetic and play-based sessions, they offer personalised support for home-educating families while empowering neurodivergent people to build confidence, make connections and find their community.
Abingdon music therapy
Abingdon Music Therapy provides music therapy for children, young people and adults in Abingdon and surrounding areas. They offer individual and group sessions, using music to support communication, expression, connection and wellbeing. They also provide therapeutic piano teaching and work with schools, care settings and other organisations.
